Racecardad is the brainchild of Aiko Magen a 20 something living in the small town of Mount Pleasant. Originally titled Boxfort Collective and started in November of 2013, this project was started with the goal of creating a community wide project that anyone can contribute to, but has transformed into a two man project. Racecardad started doing shows in May of 2015, first playing at Mental Spaghetti Fest in Detroit, Michigan, and has steadily branched out from there.

History:
Noise was always something I wanted to get into, but only during junior year of high school did I really start to do anything with my ideas. I first started with field recordings, finding whatever I could around my house to record and load into audacity to mess with. At first I had no clue what I was doing, just experimenting with the effects until it got somewhat close to what I wanted it to sound like. It took a lot of messing around with various functions and effects until finally I got the hang of it, creating more complex sounds til I found a niche that started to stick, making my tracks very dark and haunting sounding.
